 Safe-Guard Equi-bits™

Safe-Guard® Equi-bits™ (fenbendazole), the alfalfa-based pellet that lets you feed and deworm in a single step. Armed with fenbendazole, the active ingredient in all Safe-Guard® products, Equi-bits™ pellets control large strongyles, small strongyles, pinworms and ascarids. Safe-Guard Equi-bits is safe for horses, including foals and pregnant mares.

This single dose treatment makes rotational deworming a breeze!

Just combine these palatable pellets with your ration of choice. On deworming day, replace your usual daily ration with an amount equal to the pellets provided in the handy foil pouch. Safe-Guard Equi-bits does the rest. One pouch will treat 1,250 lbs. (body weight) horse in one meal.

 Safe-Guard 10% Paste

Safe-Guard® (fenbendazole) Paste 10% (100mg/g) contains the active anthelmintic, fenbendazole. The chemical name of fenbendazole is methyl 5-(phenylthio)-2-benzimidazole carbamate. Each gram of Safe-Guard® Paste 10% contains 100 mg of fenbendazole and is flavored with artificial apple-cinnamon liquid.

Safe-Guard® (fenbendazole) Paste 10% is indicated for the control of large strongyles (Strongylus edentatus, S. equinus, S. vulgaris), encysted early third stage (hypobiotic), late third stage and fourth stage cyathostome larvae, small strongyles, pinworms (Oxyuris equi), ascarids (Parascaris equorum), and arteritis caused by fourth stage larvae of Strongylus vulgaris in horses.

Safe-Guard® (fenbendezole) Paste 10% is approved for use concomitantly with an approved form of trichlorfon. Trichlorfon is approved for the treatment of stomach bots (Gasterophilus spp.) in horses. Refer to the manufacturer's label for directions for use and cautions for trichlorfon.

Safe-Guard Canine Granule

Safe-Guard® (fenbendazole) granules is a powerful intestinal dewormer for dogs. Recommended for the removal of Roundworms (Toxocara canis , Toxascaris leonina), Hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum , Uncinaria stenocephala) Whipworms (Trichuris vulpis) and Tapeworms (Taenia pisiformis).

Give Safe-Guard® Canine to your dog by mixing the daily dose with a small amount of the usual food. Make sure your dog eats all of the medicated food. You may need to moisten dry dog food to aid mixing. Repeat the daily dose for three days in a row.
